Creating Tokens

Create a fully-featured digital token on Unit Network in minutes — no coding required.

What you'll learn
  • How to create a token
  • How to configure supply, profile, and settings
  • How to set up bank, exchange, treasury, and staking

Step 1: Create the Token

  1. Navigate to Explore → Create Token
  2. Enter your preferred token name
  3. Click Create — you're redirected to the Token Dashboard

Your token is created with a default supply of 100,000 tokens, all held in the token bank.

Step 2: Configure Settings

Token Supply

  • Click Edit on the Token Overview panel
  • Update the Total Supply (e.g., 1,000,000)
  • Save changes
warning

Supply can only be changed before any tokens leave the bank. Once distributed, it's locked permanently.

Token Profile

  • Add a description, website, color, and other details
  • This creates the public-facing profile page for your token

Ecosystem Token

  • Enable Ecosystem Token to have all crypto assets automatically directed to treasury
  • Useful for tokens meant to act as index/reserve tokens

Step 3: Set Up Liquidity

Your token starts with no market price. To enable trading:

  1. Transfer tokens from the Bank to your wallet
  2. Go to the token's Exchange → Stake
  3. Add TOKEN + USDU as a pair
  4. The ratio determines the initial price

Step 4: Configure Staking (Optional)

Bond Staking

  1. Navigate to Bond Staking → Admin
  2. Register the token with APY (1–30%), unbonding period (0–28 days)
  3. Allocate tokens from the bank as the reward pool

Pool Staking

Pool staking is automatic — anyone can provide liquidity once the exchange is initialized.

Step 5: Run a Token Sale (Optional)

  1. Go to Token Dashboard → Sale
  2. Click New Stage
  3. Set price and quantity for the sale round
  4. Configure bonus allocations (Team, Advisor, Community)
  5. Buyers purchase with any wrapped crypto token
