City Tokens serve as both a local currency and a reverse ETF, backed by Blue Chips, allowing investors to support a city’s growth with a single token.
Core Use-Cases:
- Purchase Power: Enables purchases within community stores in the City Token ecosystem.
- Payment Medium: Facilitates seamless transfers between users.
- Treasury Contributions: 0.5% of all City Token trades contribute to the City Token Treasury, supporting sustainable growth.
- Reverse ETF: Represents the assets within a specific city, accessible as a Reverse ETF.
Resilient Backing:
Each City Token is secured by Blue Chip assets, similar to the UNIT Coin, ensuring stability. A substantial 90% of City Token sales are locked in the treasury to fortify value and mitigate risk, while the 0.5% trade contribution further strengthens treasury resilience.
Global Reach:
Currently active in around 30 cities across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas, Unit Network aims to expand to 60-70 cities in Asia, 30 in the Middle East and Africa, and 50 in both Europe and the Americas, fostering local economies worldwide.
